In 2016, for Utah-Washington, comedian Frank Caliendo was the guest picker; in 2015, for Utah-California, it was Utah Jazz legend John Stockton; and in 2010, for Utah-TCU, it was actor Ty Burrell.

Texas Tech alumnus and oil tycoon Cody Campbell has been the face of a campaign in the U.S. to "Save College Sports," advocating for increased regulation in name, image and likeness. He's also had a strong hand in a Texas Tech athletic program that directed an estimated $55 million to its athletes this year.

"College GameDay" analyst Kirk Herbstreit must decide whether to prove the sincerity of his apology. It all started during Saturday's coverage on ABC of a game between the Texas A&M Aggies and LSU Tigers when Herbstreit was unable to recognize the logo of the Samford Bulldogs.

ESPN’s College GameDay could soon be making its way to Arkansas. Host Rece Davis says he plans to pitch the idea of bringing the popular pregame show to the Battle of the Ravine, the long-standing rivalry between Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist University.
