Michael Busch hit a three-run double off Jacob Misiorowski, and the Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 for their third consecutive victory over the NL Central leaders.

As the Cubs have worked to get their offense back on track over the past month, the team’s rotation has done its part in holding the line. The starting staff has done so while also awaiting the return of veteran right-hander Jameson Taillon.

A deflating 4-1 setback to the Chicago Cubs in the finale of the teams’ split doubleheader left the Brewers victims of a sweep and losers of two straight games for the first time since July 25 and 26.
