The latest arctic blast will move into the northern Rockies and northern Plains Saturday and spread to the central and eastern U.S. through much of next week.

After a winter storm this weekend, the polar vortex will return, bringing subzero temperatures to around 80 million people from Montana to Maine and potentially as far south as northern Texas.

Every state but Hawaii, California and Florida is likely to get a taste of wind chills of 20 degrees or colder.
