Netflix’s hit fantasy series, The Witcher, suffered a worrying case of man bun overboard when lead actor Henry Cavill quit out of the blue in October 2022 – taking with him the distinctive silver topknot he sported playing ace monster killer Geralt of Rivia.

Netflix confirmed in October 2022 that The Witcher would return for season 4 with Liam Hemsworth playing Geralt, with both Cavill and Hemsworth sharing statements on Instagram regarding the recasting.

Over the years, Henry Cavill has quite literally led Netflix’s The Witcher, playing Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter with supernatural abilities. After reprising his role for three seasons, Henry announced that it would be his last back in October 2022.
