The New York Jets reportedly would've considered retaining Aaron Rodgers if he agreed to at least two stipulations.

Pittsburgh Steelers safety DeShon Elliott made clear he wants no part of Aaron Rodgers. He said it as much in a post on Instagram that has been deleted since.

But this would be a huge, expensive mistake. Rodgers is 42 years old and based on last season, his best football is well behind him. If the Steelers want to throw away the 2025 season and start a full rebuild, they can do it much cheaper than paying Rodgers to do it.
