COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A meteor over Ohio on Tuesday likely led to a loud boom, according to the National Weather Service. NWS Cleveland said the latest GLM imagery shows the meteor caused a loud boom in northeast Ohio.
Three meteor showers will be active in March, including the Gamma Normids, Xi Herculids and Eta Virginids, with the Eta Virginids possibly producing bright fireballs during peak activity.
