WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy plans to visit a Boeing factory on Thursday in Washington State to ensure the U.S. planemaker is maintaining the highest level of safety.

The visit comes six years after the fatal crash of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302, which involved a Boeing 737 Max jet.

Duffy's visit comes as Boeing faces renewed safety concerns following a recent in-flight panel detachment and the 737 Max crash anniversary
