The Tennessee Titans defeated the Minnesota Vikings 23-13 on Friday in the preseason finale from Nashville. The Titans finish the preseason with a 2-1 record. Rookie quarterback Cam Ward started the game and led the Titans on a 13-play touchdown drive before departing in the first half. Ward completed three of four passes for 36 yards.

The Minnesota Vikings head to Tennessee to take on the No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward and the Titans in the final tune up before focusing on Week 1.

Cam Ward led a touchdown drive in his preseason debut, a 29-7 Titans loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Aug. 9 at Raymond James Stadium. Ward was 5-for-8 for 67 yards, with all the completions coming in the second drive (following an opening drive three-and-out). Tennessee scored on the drive via a Tony Pollard 1-yard touchdown run.
