Tornadoes and baseball-sized hail tore through parts of Wisconsin and Iowa on Tuesday evening, leaving behind damaged buildings and at least one home destroyed.

Extreme meteorologist Dr. Reed Timmer reports from a cluster of supercells in Iowa as the threat for tornadoes rises higher and higher on Tuesday evening.

Damaging winds gusts and large hail are the primary threats, but a couple of tornadoes are possible as well.

A tornado watch has been issued for much of central and eastern Iowa.

Milwaukee and much of southern Wisconsin is under a tornado watch as severe weather is expected to move across the state this afternoon and through the evening of April 14.
