Investigators have located human remains following a large explosion at a Northern California fireworks warehouse.

Authorities say human remains have been found after the Tuesday explosion and fire at a fireworks warehouse in the Northern California community of Esparto. On Friday, Yolo County officials announced that human remains were located after coroner's division personnel were allowed to access the site for their investigation.

The number of fatalities was not released and no positive identifications have been made, Yolo County officials said. Seven people were considered missing on Wednesday.
