Palestinian militant group Hamas is set to hand over three Israeli hostages on Saturday in exchange for Palestinian detainees and prisoners in the latest stage of a ceasefire deal aimed at opening the way to ending the 15-month war in Gaza.

Israel and Hamas are in the midst of a six-week ceasefire during which Hamas is releasing dozens of the hostages captured in its Oct. 7, 2023, attack in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.

Hamas has released the names of three hostages to be freed in Gaza on Saturday in exchange for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. The three men, captured by Hamas during its October 7, 2023 terror attack, are Eli Sharabi, 52, Ohad Ben Ami, 56, and Or Levy, 34.
