No. 1 seed Houston reached the Final Four for the second time since 2021 with a statement 69-50 win over No. 2 seed Tennessee. The theme of No. 1 seeds dominating the NCAA Tournament continued in the final Elite Eight game on Sunday as Auburn defeated No. 2 seed Michigan State behind a big performance from star big man Johni Broome.
Early chalk might not make for as fun of a first weekend, but the matchups in the second weekend and at the Final Four could be epic.
Eight teams will compete in the Elite Eight on Sunday and Monday for four spots in the Final Four next weekend. Defending champion and No. 1 seed South Carolina takes on No. 2 Duke at 1 p.m. ET to tip off the action, while No. 1 overall seed UCLA plays No. 3 seed LSU to round out Sunday's games.
