Several cats escaped an animal shelter in Oakdale after a car crashed through the building, the ASTRO Foundation Inc. said Sunday evening.

ASTRO Foundation in Oakdale will temporarily close after a car crashed into their building, impacting the community cat room.

The nonprofit serves Riverbank as well as Oakdale, including adoptions, spaying and neutering of dogs and cats.
