An Air Canada plane collided with a fire truck on a runway at New York’s LaGuardia Airport Sunday, killing the pilot and copilot and injuring two others, a law enforcement official told CNN.

Executive Director Port Authority Kathryn Garcia says two pilots were killed and 41 people were taken to the hospital after an Air Canada plane hit a fire truck during landing.

Sources told NBC News that the pilot and co-pilot may have been killed in the incident.
