Temporary Polish border controls along the country's frontier to Germany are to remain in place until August 5, according to a draft regulation published by the Interior Ministry in Warsaw on Wednesday.

Poland will introduce temporary controls along borders with Germany and Lithuania on July 7, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Tuesday, echoing several other European Union countries in reimposing frontier checks to stem illegal migration.
