ANAHEIM, Calif. – Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner gave the visitors dugout a thumbs up from second-base, after hitting a line drive into the left-field gap to win a battle against former teammate Kyle Hendricks.

Chicago Cubs star Kyle Tucker went over a month without a home run before he finally ended his drought Friday night against the Los Angeles Angels. Tucker then hit two more bombs in Saturday’s 12-1 victory, giving the Cubs and their fans hope that his baffling slump is officially over.

Nico Hoerner had an RBI double against former teammate Kyle Hendricks and the Chicago Cubs beat the Los Angeles Angels 4-3 on Sunday.
