After not being able to play on Friday due to a downpour, LSU baseball and Texas A&M finally got underway in game one of a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon with Kade Anderson on the mound for the Tigers. LSU couldn't get the job done as the Aggies took game one 3-1.

The Tigers (37-9, 14-7 SEC) took two games of three from the Tennessee Volunteers at home, securing its biggest series win of the year. As a result, LSU shot up college baseball polls to No. 2 in the country as well as NCAA regional projections as high as the No. 2 overall national seed.
