The National Security Council (NSC) has provided clarification on reports about Mike Waltz and his staff using personal Gmail accounts for government communications.
National Security Advisor Mike Waltz accidentally added a journalist to a Signal group chat about classified military action in Yemen. The chat included top Trump administration officials, including Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Last week, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz inadvertently invited a journalist to a Signal chat discussing a planned military strike. Today, a new Washington Post report says that he has also discussed “sensitive military positions and powerful weapons systems relating to an ongoing conflict,” using his personal Gmail account.
