On Monday, President Donald Trump recognized Barkley and the rest of the team at the White House. Trump brought up Barkley's name specifically during the ceremony, recounting how he told Barkley's former team (the New York Giants) to retain him by any means necessary.

Barkley flew with Trump on Air Force One and was seen entering the White House a day before the Eagles will celebrate their Super Bowl victory.

While it's still in question whether QB Jalen Hurts will join his Eagles teammates at the White House, the status of another Birds' star isn't.
