Beloved video game publisher Electronic Arts canceled its upcoming Titanfall game and fired over 300 employees today. A third of the cuts, Variety reports, came from EA’s developer Respawn, the makers of the popular Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi series.

IGN reports that about 100 employees at Respawn were laid off, including developers, QA workers, and publishing staffers. IGN also says that some workers were moved from Respawn over to EA Motive’s Iron Man game, the Battlefield series, “and other projects.”

Bloomberg's report indicated that one project was canceled earlier in the year, with the other described as a multiplayer extraction shooter set in the Titanfall universe. It's unclear how far along the game was in development, but according to Bloomberg, it was nowhere close to being released.
