Boeing Co. and union leaders representing striking workers at its St. Louis-area defense factories will return to the bargaining table Monday, as they aim to end a three-week long impasse.

Boeing and officials of the striking machinists union are slated to resume contract negotiations on Monday, the company and union confirmed Friday. Roughly 3,200 members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) went on strike at Boeing Defense's St.
