Derby were the better side for the opening 20 minutes; Callum Elder had an early shot blocked in the penalty area, and they had a half-hearted penalty appeal waved away when Andreas Weimann's shot struck centre half Rob Dickie and looked as though it might've flicked off his arm, but the Rams didn't offer enough in the final third.
