Third-ranked Iga Swiatek captured the Cincinnati Open title by defeating No. 7 Jasmine Paolini 7-5, 6-4 on Monday night.

"This was the most extreme situation and most extreme schedule I've had after a title win," Swiatek, currently ranked second in the world, said Tuesday afternoon.
