Due to the questions at the wide receiver position, the 49ers are looking into making a move. According to a report from NFL insider Dianna Russini of The Athletic, San Francisco is among the teams looking to make a preseason trade for a wide receiver. She also named the Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets.
The 49ers have signed OL Michael Dunn and WR Malik Knowles to one-year deals. In order to make room on the roster, the team released DL Demone Harris and waived/injured RB Corey Kiner.
Martin started the preseason shaky and looked good later in the second preseason game. However, he is a third-round pick, and not only is he not pushing Dee Winters, you could argue Luke Gifford and Tatum Bethune are closer to Martin than Martin is to Winters.
