A rainbow crosswalk in Orlando, Florida, that was part of the city’s Pulse Memorial was removed by the state overnight.

People took matters into their own hands after the commemorative crosswalk was removed, and drew it back onto the ground.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer (D) said the Florida transportation department installed the rainbow crosswalk in 2017, and it was a "callous" and "cruel political act" to "hastily" repaint it with no warning or discussion.
