Federal car safety regulators opened an investigation Thursday into why Tesla has repeatedly broken rules requiring it to tell them quickly about crashes involving its self-driving technology that may soon be deployed in millions of its cars on U.

The NHTSA just announced a new investigation into Tesla for not properly reporting crashes involving its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving systems. This is just the latest inquiry into the company.
