Taylor Swift’s long awaited return to Canada, more than six years after her last time in the country, hit like a hurricane. And she still lived up to the hype.

Taylor Swift hit the stage in Toronto for her first show Thursday night, and the first Eras Tour stop in Canada, greeting a sold-out crowd in a signature glittery bodysuit as Swifties rejoiced with both cheers and tears.

The singer-songwriter thanked the fans packed inside the Rogers Centre while acknowledging her six Grammy nominations.
