The 49ers are adding to their wide receiver room. San Francisco acquired pass-catcher Skyy Moore and a 2027 seventh-round pick from the Chiefs in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick, according to multiple reports. The trade comes as the franchise is dealing with a bit of a mess at the position, with Week 1 just over two weeks away.

Moore was in a battle for a spot on this season's roster. The Chiefs are deep at wide receiver, with Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and rookie Jalen Royals looming as roster locks.
