If you get bombarded with ads. It's because you tend to not click away. Close the video and then close the site. If you can do it, take a break and come back later. Over time they will hound you with less ads because they know you will leave the site otherwise. It is and will forever be a game of cat and mouse. Once enough people know this.

I'm having some success cutting out most ads on a 2016 Samsung SmartTV by rejecting URLs in my modems url filtering settings, It's cut most pre roll and after ads and have skipped next through 8 videos without having a pre roll, But it's not 100% successful and adding the blacklist URLs to the filter was a chore, Yet at least the ad amount has dropped dramatically ...

Feb 6, 2022 · 30 minute video... 7 sets of 2 ads... 14 ads in total... the first ad of each set was 20 seconds, unskippable. The second ads were all 5 seconds. 25 seconds worth of ads, 7 ad break breaks, nearly 3 minutes total just in adverts. Couldn't skip ANY of them. This is an average of 4 minutes between adverts. THIS is why people use AdBlockers.
