The New South Wales Premier has confirmed commuters on the Bankstown rail line will have to use buses for 'around a year' while their heavy rail line is converted into the south west metro. As revealed on 7NEWS, the government will commit another $1 billion to the project. A shutdown had always been planned, but there'd been speculation that it could last for up to 15 months.
