Non-stop lunge-feeding humpback whales this afternoon! It was a feeding frenzy with 100 sea lions and three hungry humpback whales! In Monterey Bay, humpback whales and California sea lions often form feeding groups together to corral anchovies and feed on them side by side. Humpback whales do not eat sea lions, they cooperate with them and feed together.
