A 48x48” color field painting - part 2 🌷 I really love the texture that’s happening on this painting, but I didn’t want to be afraid of covering it up. I wanted to put subtle layers of thin color within the same blue color scheme and just see what happened. I ended up watering down my paint and using saran wrap to pick up the paint and lay it on my canvas. I repeated this and then used a trowel to spread out some of the paint.
