Fun fact about my latest single, “Drunkard’s Hiccups” I played a 5-stringed fiddle, and I cross-tuned it to DADAD. Normally a fiddle only has 4 strings and normally when it has 5 strings, it’s tuned CGDAE. The extra string and the cross-tuning makes my fiddle sound fuller and more resonant.
