I’m sharing my own plan when it comes to hormone therapy: I plan to stay on it as long as the benefits outweigh the risks — which, for me, could be the rest of my life. The latest guidelines from the Menopause Society are clear: there’s no arbitrary age at which you have to stop hormone therapy. It will always protect my bones. It will always support my genital urinary system. And it will always be a conversation between me and my provider, grounded in science, evidence, and my personal health.
