Here’s the secret to my high notes…that you will never see from the audience! Opera singing is a full body activity… The key to those high notes is a muscle you can’t see…the pelvic floor! When I breathe, I start that pelvic floor activation. It’s like saying, “Hi! 👋 I am ready and here when you need me!” Then when I ascend into my high notes, I drop it and feel an internal lean downward…it also helps to have the legs activated so I feel completely grounded into the floor.
