Tonight’s scenic video escape takes you to the “Totally Amazing” Chalk Basin in the Owyhee River Canyon. This spot was quite the challenge to get to, miles of really rough desert roads, wrong turns and flat tires but we made it and hiked out to film it. We have so much amazing footage of the Owyhee’s yet to edit and release. We spent a week in there and covered 100’s and 100’s of miles of dirt roads in one of the most desolate and isolated areas in the country and it was freaking awesome. | Sky

Snively Hot Spring- giving this a solid 8/10. It sits on the Owyhee River and the surrounding scenery is gorgeous! You really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere Idaho/ Oregon (but in a good way) 🙂The canyon road past the hot spring has the most beautiful views of Owyhee Mountains and a cool road tunnel you can drive through.
