This story I posted filled up my inbox, so I’ll explain here. We are in Indonesia and the reason my catamaran isn’t getting thrown onto the reef, ending up as a dive site, is that at this particular spot, Mother Nature conveniently laid a 30ft sandy channel right down the side of the reef that the wave apparently won’t break in, at this size anyway.
