On January 13, at approximately 11 PM, Sumter County Deputies and Wildwood Police Department Officers spotted an individual driving with a suspended license. The deputy attempted a traffic stop in the area of US Hwy 301/Main St. within Wildwood City Limits however, the driver began traveling at a high rate of speed, and in a reckless manor south bound on Main St. The deputy disengaged his attempt at the traffic stop due to public safety concerns.
